As of Fall 2007, the market continues to be active, but values have depreciated considerably over the past 6 months. Interest rates are still low, and the inventory of houses under $500,000 is high. We believe the rates will stay low until the end of this year. This, of course, empowers more buyers, and we are seeing the results of that.  Sellers need to price their house competitively to attract buyers.  Buyers are in a good position to negotiate a good sales price with the amount of inventory currently out there.
